Brooklyn band Parquet Courts are odds on favourite to be one of the big buzz bands of 2013. The other day they re-released a fun little song titled Stoned and Starving that has some of the best post punk guitar work of recent memory. The track is reminiscent of the great post punk bands of the late 70's including Television and Wire. An extra bonus from me for name dropping the yummy candy Swedish Fish into the lyrics of the song. Listen below:
