New Music: Cold Showers: Violent Cries

Cold Showers are about to release their debut album, Love and Regret, and to entice you to buy the record they have released another single. Aural Report already featured the debut single, BC, in August and now the un-California like band have a new track called Violent Cries. The post-punk sound evokes dreary Manchester instead of bright Los Angeles where the group is from. Download the single below via Soundcloud.

New Band: Cold Showers

BC is the lead single from new Los Angeles post punk band Cold Showers debut album Love and Regret. The track has a propulsive beat backed by jangle guitar that leads into a more shredding shoegaze guitar near the end. The guitar work on the song is aided by Andrew King of psych indie rock band Crystal Antlers. The dark pop reminds one of Joy Division or modern acts like DIIV and The Soft Moon.
