New Music: Beverly- Honey Do
Frankie Rose was a busy girl last year, releasing the excellent Herein Wild LP, and following that up with an extensive tour. The former Vivian and Dum Dum girl is not slowing down in 2014, and has joined up with her touring partner Drew Citron to form a new project called Beverly. The first taste from the duo is the lo-fi "Honey Do", a song that takes Rose and Citron into twee sunshine pop territory. The song will be included on the Kanine Records compilation Non Violent Femmes with similar sounding bands Joanna Gruesome, Bleeding Rainbow and Eternal Summers. The compilation will be available April 19th (Record Store Day). Check the song out below:
The duo is signed to Kanine Records and will release their debut album later this year.
