New Music: Guards- Ready to Go

Another day, another new Guards track. When is the release date of their new album? Not for a couple of weeks yet. Anyway, Ready to Go is another great song released from the band ahead of their forthcoming LP release. This track has a sound that is closer to Richie Follin's sister's band Cults. Listen below.

In Guards We Trust will be released on February 5th via Black Bell.

New Music: Guards- Nightmare (Teaser)

Ugh.... not sure I like teasers. Especially when the song sounds as good as the new Guards track Nightmare. Of the songs that Guards have released so far from their upcoming new album In Guards We Trust, this seems to be my favourite, even though I haven't listened to whole song. Judge for yourself by listening to Guards previous two singles Silver Lining and Coming True and then watch/listen below to the video teaser for their new track Nightmare.

In Guards We Trust will be released on February 5th via Black Bell.

New Music: Guards- Coming True

Guards have just come off of a highly acclaimed set at New York's CMJ festival and now they are almost set to release their debut album, In Guards We Trust, to the world. But first, the band have come out with Coming True, the follow up to the excellent single Silver Lining which we featured on the Aural Report back in September.

The track sees singer Richie Follin showcasing his vocal talents on the tracks shimmering choruses which proves to the world that sister Madeline of Cults isn't the only one in the family with a soaring voice. Listen below:

In Guards We Trust will be released on February 5th via Black Bell.

For fans of Bleeding Rainbow, Cults and Willowz.

New Music: Guards- Silver Lining

The Follin clan is one talented bunch of artists.  Not only is Guards founder Richie Follin the stepson of Paul Kostabi, formerly of Youth Gone Mad and White Zombie, he is also the brother of Cults lead singer Madeline Follin.  The former Willowz member is back with his indie rock project Guards and a new single titled Silver Lining.

The track is the first single off their debut album, In Guards We Trust, which will be released February 5th via Black Bell. The track is a sunny, energetic slice of indie pop which would be perfect to listen to while trying to warm up on a cool autumn morning. Listen to the song below via Soundcloud.
