Sean Nicholas Savage is an eccentric singer songwriter from Montreal who is an inspiration to a lot of his musician peers from that city. In early February Arbutus Records released a free compilation with covers of Savages' songs by some of Montreal's biggest indie stars including Mac DeMarco, Doldrums, and Pat Jordache.
Savage has already put out three albums, Flamingo, Won-Ton Jazz and Trippple Midnight Karma, with Arbutus records and he is all set to release his fourth, Other Life, on April 30th. "Lonely Woman" is the first single from the album, a dark R&B ballad about trying to pick up a girl who doesn't want to commit to him. Listen below:
Savage will be going out on an extensive tour covering SXSW, North America and Europe and opening for the likes of Mac DeMarco, Doldrums, Bleached and Melody's Echo Chamber. See all tour dates here.
